DATABASE-FLMEC : a CFD database on unsteady and turbulent flows

This database contains several sets of results obtained from numerical simulations of 2D and 3D incompressible flows. They were carried out at LISN (Laboratoire Interdisciplinaire des Sciences du Numérique), in various geometric configurations such as channel or buff-body flows. This base provides different types of data sets characterising unsteady or turbulent flows computed from Direct Numerical Simulation (DNS) or Large-Eddy Simulation (LES) approaches. For example, can be found data in the form of snapshot field series, statistical fields, time series, etc. The level of detail is fine enough to obtain (or construct) an accurate representation of main flow features. The size of data sets for 3D configurations can be huge (several TB). Smaller data sets resulting from “3D light” or 2D configurations are also available.
