Burbio - Event Data - US Community Activity Index - Reopening Measurement

This product measures the level of in-person community life occurring across all 3,000 US counties in the US post-COVID through an intensely local and dynamically measured data set of community groups that is updated daily. The data set for this product consists of calendars from over 70,000 community groups, libraries, government activities and non-profits. from all fifty states and 3,000 US Counties. Event information is dynamically updated in real time to reflect in person events and activities. Groups include government meetings, Chambers of Commerce, libraries, YMCAs, Junior Leagues, Zoos, Aquariums, JCCs, United Ways, National and County Parks, Sierra Clubs, Habitats for Humanities, Rotary Clubs, and specific groups for each town and region such as Lion's Clubs, Knights of Columbus, Women's clubs and more. First - customers will have county level visibility for groups in five different subsets: Libraries, Government meetings and events, Chambers of Commerce, Arts and Recreation, and Civic and Volunteer to determine what percentage are having in person events, by county, across the US. Live events are measured as having had in person events since May 31st or have on their calendar in the future. For example if there are 13 libraries in a county and 5 have had live events, that would appear. If there were 27 Civic and Volunteer groups and 12 of them had live events, that is what would appear. And investors get daily updates across every county in the US. It allows clients to measure the "return to normal" across the US. Second - Burbio assigns and index of 20 for each of the five subsets above- adding to a total of 100 -and if the sub-group within a county has a certain threshold of live events occurring, Burbio assigns that a "20". So each county in the US is assigned a grade of zero to 100 on any given day, along with history since Covid began.
