Legal requirements for brushing (84) — Zoning sensitivities levels for linear works

In the crossing and up to a distance of 200 metres from the woods, forests and similar land situated at less than 1 000 m above sea level, the State, local authorities, owners of roads open to public traffic and the concession companies of motorways carry out their costs to the clearing and maintenance of cleared condition on both sides of the roadway. The width of the strip on either side of the track is defined according to the fire sensitivity of the forest mass crossed by the track. A map determining the zoning of massifs classified according to their sensitivity is attached as an annex to this Order. In all cases, the access lane must have a volume free of any obstacle with a minimum height and width of 3.50 m.
