Changes in the vaginal microflora associated with primary ovarian failure

To study the influence of the balance of vaginal flora in relation to the occurrence of Primary ovarian failure (POF).Data analysis of female genital flora and environmental factors in POF patients.The diversity and richness of the vaginal flora of patients with POF was significantly different to that of healthy controls. Comparison of the flora of patients POF with that of menopausal women revealed that the abundance of Lactobacillus was significantly reduced in the latter. This study confirms that vaginal flora dysbiosis occurs in Chinese patients with POF. Additionally, the vaginal microbiome is closely related to clinical characteristics of POF.
