In Vitro Reference Models for Multi-Layer Tissue Structures (MULTIS)

This dataset can be used to understand the mechanics of multi-layer tissue structures of the limbs, particularly of the lower and upper legs and arms. It includes anatomical and mechanical data collected on extremities of 9 adult subjects (5 male, 4 female) from the general population. The dataset consists of computed tomography (CT) imaging, magnetic resonance (MR) imaging, and ultrasound scanning performed with a load transducer for in vitro characterization of skin, fat, and muscle thicknesses at unloaded and loaded (indentation) states. It also includes all relevant segmentations.
