Population Survey: One Amazon - Caquetá Node

This dataset was collected by the host project "Una Amazonía - Nodo Caquetá" as part of its quantitative diagnostic component. The survey was designed to generate a baseline on living conditions (access to health services, food security, food sovereignty, and water) in the municipalities of Curillo and San José del Fragua, Caquetá, in a post-conflict context. The sample was of a non-probabilistic convenience type, selected in collaboration with local social organisations (ASMTRAC-CURC, FACURIC, ASOPORTALES, and the Cabildo Nasa). A total of 189 households were surveyed, defined as the group of people who share the same dwelling and prepare meals together. The instrument was administered to the head of household or a responsible adult who could provide information on their behalf. The questionnaire design was a participatory process. Standardised and validated scales were integrated, such as the Latin American and Caribbean Food Security Scale (ELCSA) and the WHO/UNICEF WASH tool, with specific questions that emerged from diagnostic workshops with the community. Before its final application, the instrument was reviewed and validated by community leaders to ensure its cultural relevance and clarity. Data collection was carried out using a digital version of the questionnaire, and fieldwork was conducted by the research team in constant accompaniment of local leaders, who facilitated access and logistics in the territory. This dataset is the result of this process.
