教程视频 (Instructional Video) 可以教用户如何完成对应的任务，但是现有教程视频数据集在规模和多样性上都存在较大的局限性，难以应用于现实生中的复杂场景。为此，COIN 数据集应运而生，用于更全面的教学视频分析。

Instructional videos can teach users how to accomplish targeted tasks. However, current instructional video datasets suffer from significant limitations in both scale and diversity, rendering them unsuitable for deployment in complex real-world scenarios. To address these limitations, the COIN dataset was introduced to facilitate more comprehensive instructional video analysis.

COIN 行为识别数据集是一个大规模的教学视频分析数据集，包含从YouTube收集的11,827个视频，涵盖12个日常生活领域的180种任务。该数据集总时长为476小时，共标注了46,354个视频片段，平均每个视频有3.91个步骤片段。
