Loss of BubR1 acetylation causes defects in spindle assembly checkpoint signaling and promotes tumor formation

An EGFP-tagged full length CENP-E construct was transfected into K243R/+ MEFs. Cells were treated with MG132 for 2 hours and subjected to a cold stable microtubule assay. The images were acquired with a microscope (DeltaVision; Applied Precision) equipped with 100x objective lens (Olympus). The images were obtained with 0.2µm-distanced optical sections in z-axis. Each section was deconvoluted and projected into one image using the softWoRx software (Applied Precisions). CREST is shown in blue, α-Tubulin in red and EGFP-CENP-E in green.
