Empoasca vitis Assembly

Tea production have been significantly impacted by Empoasca vitis around Asia. To identify the main features of the gene expression and the key components of E. vitis, responsible for nutrition absorption, xenobiotic metabolism and the immune response, 2nd generation sequencing technology was conducted to obtain transcriptome dataset on either intestinal tract or carcass of E. vitis.
