B.O.L.E.H Initiative Protocol

A quasi-experimental pre–post design was implemented across four Program Perumahan Rakyat (People’s Housing Programme) sites in the Lembah Pantai community of Kuala Lumpur. The intervention included advocate training, educational videos, lift-lobby posters, household contests, and ongoing floor-level engagement. Repeated KAP surveys were conducted at three-time points. Monthly dengue incidence rates were obtained from the national surveillance system and analysed using Generalized Estimating Equations (GEE) with a log-population offset to assess temporal and group effects.
