资源简介:
Employing turbulence generators known as the single square grids (SSGs) or square fractal grids (SFGs) can promote effective forced convective heat transfer, thus holding great potential in augmenting the thermo-fluid performance of flow engineering systems. The above, however, requires fine-tuning of their geometrical parameters for the generated turbulence to possess properties that are favorable in promoting heat transfer. Hence, this research develops a low-cost computational framework to adequately express turbulence evolution behind SSGs and SFGs, followed by applying the developed framework to quantify the effects of grid geometry and flow speed on grid-induced macroscopic flow dynamics and heat transfer characteristics.
