Data files and code supporting the publication "Using synchronization to high resolution model twins for eddy-rich state estimation - the impact of eddy-noise" Under MITgcm_c59n_mpi-mr_data.zip and MITgcm_c59n_mpi-mr_code.zip input and code modifications are provided to run the forward and adjoint of GECCO3. Note that you need to download MITgcm_c59n from mitgcm.org and have a comercial subscription to TAF by www.fastopt.de to generate the adjoint code. Under MITgcm_c66e_llc_1080_data.zip and MITgcm_c66e_llc_1080_code.zip input and code modifications are provided to run the forward llc1080 configuration. Note that you need to download MITgcm_c66e from mitgcm.org. Instructions how to compile and run die MITgcm can be found in the MITgcm user manual at https://mitgcm.readthedocs.io/en/latest/ interpol.zip contains matlab and python routines to interpolate between the GECCO3 grid and the llc1080 grid MDT_goco05s_10min_corr_1993_2016_DO240_tg0.8.bin.zip is combination of the GOCO05s geoid with the DTU10 mean sea surface heigh interpolated to the GECCO3 grid
