FAIR assessment of a sample of the CTU DSpace repository (OSTrails CZ Pilot, FAIR Champion, July 2026)

A FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) assessment of a stratified random sample of 100 records from the Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU) DSpace repository (dspace.cvut.cz, DSpace 9 REST API). The sample was drawn with a reproducible stratified sampler (seed 42, minimum 2 records per document type, remainder apportioned proportionally to the real corpus), covering all 16 CTU document types; student theses dominate (37 bachelor, 30 master). Each record was evaluated against the full set of 166 FAIR tests discovered through the OSTrails FAIR Champion, drawing on multiple test providers (OSTrails/FAIR Champion core, RSFC, FAIRsharing, FOOPS, CESSDA, OpenAIRE). The run was executed between 15–16 July 2026 (UTC) and produced 16,396 individual test results. AI tools were used for assistance with tool development and results summarisation.
