SmartPortraits

The SmartPortraits dataset, developed by the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, comprises 1,000 video sequences documenting portraits of 200 individuals across various natural environments. Constructed using handheld setups with smartphones and external depth cameras, this dataset aims to bridge the gap between raw smartphone-acquired measurements and downstream applications including state estimation, 3D reconstruction, and view synthesis. Boasting rich multimodal content, the dataset encompasses smartphone video footage, IMU data, and high-quality depth images synchronized with the external depth cameras, rendering it applicable to a broad spectrum of research domains, particularly augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) technologies.
