资源简介:
Simulation data produced for the Nature Astronomy article "Earth-mass planets with He atmospheres in the habitable zone of Sun-like stars" by Lammer, Scherf et al. Data is provided for planets with 0.7-3.0 M_Earth in the HZ of solar-like stars that follow XUV flux evolutionary paths of so-called slow, moderate, and fast rotators. The main data contains (as a function of age, planetary mass, and stellar XUV flux):the primordial atmosphere mass fraction;the He fraction in the atmospheres;the total mass loss rates. In addition, it also provides:The final optical planet radii at the end of the simulations for different planetary masses and slow, moderate, and fast rotators.Atmospheric profiles for two specific cases, i.e., for 0.97 MEarth and 1.00 MEarth, both for the slow rotator case. The profiles are for the last time step of the simulations. For 0.97 MEarth, hydrogen is completely lost afterward. The transit depth in the HeI triplet for 1.00 MEarth for tmospheric He fractions of 30%, 50%, and 70%.The final author edited pre-publication figures of the article as pdf and their source data (one xlsx-file for each figure).Further information on the 1D hydrodynamic upper atmosphere model and the parameter range of the simulations can be found in the article.
