Replication Data for: Benefits of intertidal development and large egg size in a marine toadfish

These data were used to investigate variation in the benefits to toadfish eggs of being larger and of being laid at various positions along a tidal gradient. These data were collected from two laboratory and one field experiment carried out in 2018 and 2019. The focal species, the plainfin midshipman Porichthys notatus, is a marine toadfish that nests in the intertidal and shallow subtidal zones of beaches along the Pacific Coast of North America.
