Natural Remedy Dataset for Acne Treatment

This dataset is a novel, expert-validated structured dataset of 30 Ayurvedic natural remedies curated for skin care applications, indexed by skin type (Dry, Oily, Normal, All) and acne severity (Low, Moderate, Severe). Each record includes the remedy ID, ingredients, preparation method, and documented benefits. The dataset was co-developed with the help of two PhD-qualified Ayurvedic medicine professors from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, each with over 20 years of clinical and academic experience, and is a grounded in peer-reviewed research literature. It has been developed as part of a final-year undergraduate research project at the Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT), Sri Lanka, supervised by Dr. Prasan Yapa.
