Metadata from Project Investigating the early human settlement of Iceland with soil ancient DNA

Processed sequencing data are provided in Excel format. The raw sequencing data were processed using OBITools4 following the pipeline described in Morlock et al. (2023). The dataset includes sequence cluster IDs, read counts, best match taxa, assigned scientific names, and corresponding taxon IDs. Funding for this work was provided by UKRI under the project Investigating the Early Human Settlement of Iceland with Ancient Soil DNA (Grant NERCDMP-2645), led by Dr. Nick Cutler at Newcastle University.
