Genome-wide identification of AP-2a targets in bladder cells by RNA-seq (Control vs AP-2a OE)

TFAP2A (AP-2a) is a member of the transcription factor AP-2 family, functions as a tumor suppressor by regulating the expression of various cancer-related genes; its expression is positively correlated with chemosensitivity and survival of cancer patients. Overall design: UM-UC-3 cells were infected with a lentivirus expressing empty vector or AP-2a cDNA for 48 h and then the cells were selected with puromycin (1 µg/mL). Cells infected with empty vector (control) and AP-2a cDNA were sequenced by Illumina HiSeq2000.
