Spatial data Substance of the regional plans for wind energy 2020

These data reflect the results of the procedures for the partial preparation of regional plans I to III (wind energy on land) in Schleswig-Holstein 2020 in accordance with the GVOBL of 30 December 2020.

For the spatial control of the construction of wind turbines, priority areas are defined with the effect of suitable areas for the use of wind energy (wind energy priority areas). Large-scale wind turbines may only be built and renewed in these areas. Within the priority areas wind energy shall not be permitted to use any use contrary to the use of wind energy.

Priority areas for repowering projects are also defined in order to increase spatial concentration of large-scale wind turbines, to relieve the landscape and to increase effectiveness.
