Lysobacter gummosus strain K-Be-H3 exhibited inhibitory activity against mycelial growth of the root rot pathogens Aphanomyces euteiches, Fusarium avenaceum and Fusarium oxysporum strains during laboratory assays. Therefore, the strain is under investigation for biocontrol potential in suppressing root rot complex in field pea and lentils.
