Seafloor locations of bubble streams (ArcGIS shapefile format) for the Cascadia region (Merle, 2025)

This ArcGIS shapefile presents the locations of over 5,000 individual bubble streams that were detected in co-registered multibeam water column data. This compilation endeavour is the fulfillment of a commitment made to the seeps community at AGU 2024. It adds another 22 surveys to the Merle et al., 2021 compilation of co-registered multibeam seafloor and water column data (bubble stream locations) on the US Cascadia margin. Funding for data collection came from various sources including Ocean Exploration Trust (OET), Schmidt Ocean Institute, and NOAA Ocean Exploration Program.
