Bi-parental populations of cassava whitefly resistant accession ECU72 crossed with susceptible accessions COL2246 and TMS60444 have been analysed by LC-MS using an untargeted approach. Two F1 families CM8996 (ECU72xCOL2246) and GM8586 (ECU72xTMS60444), plus an F2 family (AM1588) generated by self-crossing a resistant sibling from CM8996, are presented.
The dataset include phenotypic classification and LC-MS extracted chemical features.
The phenotypic classification of the F1 and F2 bi-parental populations is based on the leaves’ nymph count using the automated system Nymphstar.
