GOME-2 NO2 Tropospheric Column Density Data Record Release 1 - Metop

The offline tropospheric NO2 column data record product provides information about vertical column densities of nitrogen dioxide in the lower atmosphere. It is being produced with one consistent algorithm version. The retrieval of the product is based on GOME-2 (ir)radiance measurements in the wavelength region of 425-450 nm. NO2 columns are given as densitites (molecules/cm2). This monthly aggregated product is being distributed in a bundle together with other trace gases.
