This project contains a variety of materials from Computational Biomodeling (CoBi) Core of the Cleveland Clinic, relevant to physics-based simulation of the biomechanical system. These may include various published/unpublished models, data, and training material generated through various small projects. <br/><br/>This project includes the following software/data packages: <br/> <ul> <li> <a href="https://simtk.org/frs?group_id=558#pack_1422">Biomechanics Workshop </a> : This package contains workshop materials for multiscale biomechanics; including presentations and hands-on tutorials utilizing finite element analysis. Required software include PreView v1.12, FEBio v1.6 & PostView v1.4. The information is geared towards a general audience interested in biomechanical principals at multiple spatial scales. The workshop was originally delivered at Pan American Advanced Studies Institute on Cells to Ecosystems: Frontiers in Collaborative Quantitative Physics-Based Multiscale Modeling of Biological Processes, July 8-26, 2013, Porto Alegre, Brazil. </li> <li> <a href="https://simtk.org/frs?group_id=558#pack_1318">Concepts in Joint Biomechanics </a> : This package contains a presentation on fundamental mechanical concepts of joint mechanics at body, joint, tissue, and cell scales. The target audience was medical residents and fellows. </li> <li> <a href="https://simtk.org/frs?group_id=558#pack_923">FEA Workshop - Foot & Footwear </a> : This package contains materials for a finite element analysis workshop. The information is geared towards hands-on experience on using the technique for foot biomechanics and footwear design. </li> <li> <a href="https://simtk.org/frs?group_id=558#pack_1350">Motion & Deformation Mechanics </a> : This package contains a presentation on multiscale mechanics of motion and deformation of the musculoskeletal system. The target audience was graduate engineering students. </li> <li> <a href="https://simtk.org/frs?group_id=558#pack_1126">Multiscale Biomechanics </a> : This package contains presentation materials for data-driven multiscale simulations in musculoskeletal biomechanics. The information is geared towards providing an overview of approaches of the date for solving the load sharing problem between joints, tissues, and cells. </li> <li> <a href="https://simtk.org/frs?group_id=558#pack_1362">Verification and Validation </a> : This presentation is provided as a perspective and reference on the process of verification and validation in computational models, especially as it relates to orthopaedic biomechanics. The talk was originally delivered at the “21st Annual Symposium on Computational Methods in Orthopaedic Biomechanics”, the “Pre-ORS”, meeting in San Antonio, TX on January 25th, 2013. </li> </ul>
