Genome-wide Analysis of Terpene Synthase Gene Family to Explore Candidate Genes Related to Disease Resistance in Prunus persica

In this study, the genome-wide PpTPS genes were identified and clustered into different classes. An 'omics' approach combining non-targeted metabolomics based on ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-mass spectroscopy,gas chromatography-mass spectroscopy and transcriptome was performed,the aim is to investigate the potential roles of PpTPS genes and terpenes in defense responses of peach plants to pathogens and in the formation of fruit floral-note compounds.
