To provide an initial genomic analysis of Opuntia sp., three transcriptome datasets of O. ficus-indica, O. robusta and O. joconostle, assembled from MACE, a variant RNA-Seq, data. Six libraries from fruits and cladodes were sequenced. Comparative transcriptome profiling provides insights into the molecular and physiological functions between species and tissues (fruits and cladodes).
