Raw data of physical oceanography and current velocity data from mooring AWI253-3 in Filchner Trough, February 2018 – March 2021

Time series data of physical oceanography (seawater conductivity, temperature, pressure, salinity) and ocean current velocities were obtained from mooring AWI253-3 in Filchner Trough (76° 02.74' S, 31° 01.42' W, water depth 471 m) in February 2018 - March 2021. The mooring was deployed during Polarstern expedition PS111, and recovered during PS124. The attached archive contains raw data files of two Seabird SBE37 microcats (nominal depths: 28 mab (meters above bottom), 117 mab; sampling interval 30 min), three SBR56 (48, 68 and 88 mab; sampling interval: 5 min) and two Nortek Aquadopp current meters (depths: 18 mab, 118 mab; sampling interval: 120 min). Auxiliary information such as sensor calibration sheets, mooring diagrams and schedule files are also provided, if applicable.
