Exome sequencing and association between identified variants and racing performance in Quarter Horses

This study have as objectives: 1) from the sequencing of exomes of horses from the racing line of Quarter Horses, to perform the identification and functional classification of SNPs and InDels, depositing new variants in publicly databases of DNA polymorphisms; 2) to carry out a case-control association study between the identified variants and racing performance in contrasting horses for the characteristic.
