Processed Multi-Channel Seismic Data on the Gardar and Eirik sediment drifts south of Iceland and Greenland, acquired during the R/V Knorr expedition KN166-14 (2002)

This 2002 Knorr survey collected 48-channel seismic reflection data, continuous swath bathymetry, side-scan sonar, 3.5 kHz echosounder data and cores on the Gardar and Eirik sediment drifts south of Iceland and Greenland. Serving as a site survey for IODP 303 and 306, the objectives were to obtain seismic reflection data with which to interpret the early history of drift formation and to examine modern processes that shape and modify the drift deposits.
