Experimental images database of vertical to horizontal slug flow transition

The database contains images of a single air bubble rising in a stagnant water column and movies of the passage of the elongated bubble in horizontal, vertical, and in a curve between these two orientations. For the movies, the test grid has the superficial liquid velocity varying from 0.30 m/s to 1.20 m/s and the superficial gas velocity ranging from 0.30 m/s to 0.90 m/s.
