GLIMS-RGI/lake_terminating: v1.1-subm

A database of lake-terminating categories for the RGI, produced in a community effort. The repository includes all material to retrace the process of the creation of this dataset (folders 'docs', 'examples' and 'scripts', the latter for any analysis code used), creation of the manuscript (folder 'essd') as well as the final output dataset itself (folder 'tables'). A separate document provides the guidelines initially produced for all operators to follow (Global_Lake_Terminating_Glacier_Guidelines), as well as a table of all lake inventories used (Lake_databases_termini.csv). The dataset includes flags for all glacier termini stored separately for all RGI regions. Data is provided as separate .csv files for each region as well as .gpkg files, with all glacier outlines between level 1 and 3 stored as 'RGI2000-v7.0-G-NN_laketerminioutlines.gpkg' and all glaciers' lake levels (from 0 to 3) stored as spatial points at glacier centroids as 'RGI2000-v7.0-G-NN_lakelevelflags.gpkg'. Subfolders include individual files submitted by different operators, allowing for a transparent retracing of the mapping effort. A regional summary of all data (regional_summary.csv) is also provided. The table also includes a file identifying all operators (contributors.csv), a file with a summary on how many glaciers more than one operator worked (multiple_operators.csv) as well as a summary of all glaciers where conflicts in flagging ooccured (mappingconflicts.csv).
