Constitutive Pla2g4e knockout mice exhibited significant behavioral alterations, particularly in memory function, different brain lipid composition, and decreased levels of cortical synaptic plasticity markers compared to wild-type counterparts.We performed gene expression profiling analysis animals lacking PLA2G4E to study the function of this enzyme in memory function. Overall design: Comparative gene expression profiling analysis of RNA-seq data obtained from prefrontal cortex of wild type and PLA2G4E knock out mice.
