Supply and demand balance of olive oil in Tunisia 2019-2021

In the crop year 2020/2021, the production of olive oil in Tunisia corresponded to 140 thousand metric tons, declining by 260 thousand metric tons compared to the previous year. However, domestic consumption and exports of this product also declined in the same period. Overall, the balance of supply, demand, and trade in Tunisia revealed an ending inventory of five thousand metric tons of olive oil for 2020/2021, decreasing by two-thirds compared to the previous crop year.
