Digital Archive from a Geophysical Survey at Clandown, Paulton, Somerset, July 2024

This collection consists of geophysical data, GIS, and CAD vector drawings form a geophysical survey at Clandown, Paulton, Somerset. The survey was conducted by Archaeological Surveys Ltd. in July 2024. Detailed magnetometry was carried out over 4.8 hectares. The northern part of the site contains an L-shaped earthwork and the survey has produced anomalies that correspond to part of this earthwork feature. In the central part of the site there appears to be two sides of a rectilinear enclosure ditch, while to the north are negative anomalies with an orientation and dimensions similar to the enclosure which could relate to structural remains. In the central and eastern part of the site are widespread anomalies associated with naturally formed features and also evidence for land drainage
