coral samples were collected, and total RNA was extracted from coral tissues under different treatments using the Trizol reagent kit. Following quality inspection, RNA samples were sent for metatranscriptome sequencing on the Illumina HiSeq platform. RNA quality was evaluated using agarose gel electrophoresis, the Nanodrop One spectrophotometer for purity (OD260/280 and OD260/230 ratios), the Qubit 3.0 fluorometer for RNA quantification, and the Agilent 4200 TapeStation for RNA integrity.
