Exploration and comparison of bacterial communities present in bovine faeces, milk, and blood using 16S rRNA metagenomic sequencing

This project entails simultaneous profiling of bovine faeces, milk, and blood using 16S rRNA metagenomics sequencing. The samples are derived from animals owned by subsistence farmers in a rural community. The primary aim was to characterize the microbial constituents of these samples and evaluate the risk associated with livestock rearing in close proximity to households, determine the microbial structure and as well as the extent of overlapping of microbial communities per body site.
