Level of completeness of communal naturalist inventories in Brittany

Is the naturalistic inventory of a municipality complete? Have all species been detected? The level of completeness of the municipal inventory for a group of species is assessed using the accumulation curve method: The more sightings accumulated on a territory, the less likely it is that a new sighting will detect a new species.

This completeness is a first approach to the level of knowledge of communal biodiversity, based on data from the regional platform Biodiv'Bretagne. Additional information is to be collected from the Regional Flora and Fauna Observatories (ORFF).
