Staphylococcus aureus can sense exogenous salt stimulated signals and then activate stress response, changed the metabolism and physiological state, thereby improving their ability to survive. In this study, the morphological, transcriptomic, and metabolomic analyses of response under gradient salinity stress were investigated. The findings provide crucial information to increase our understanding of the responses processes required to survive under salt stress in S. aureus.
