Wetland and Lake Assets

Location and extent of Melbourne Water natural and constructed (man-made) wetlands and lakes. Captured using the Top Water Level (TWL) of each, includes wetland or lake name, asset section (for As Constructed drawings) and key attributes. Data set required to indicate the location and types of assets used for stormwater treatment (treatment and removal of pollutants from the stormwater system) and flow management (helping maintain the flow of water and reduce the impacts of floods), for ongoing condition monitoring, maintenance and hydrologic or vegetation analysis and to assist with the planning and design, construction of future stormwater management (WSUD) options.NOTE: Whilst every effort has been taken in collecting, validating and providing the attached data, Melbourne Water Corporation makes no representations or guarantees as to the accuracy or completeness of this data.
