The data collection instrument uses an EyeLink1000 eye tracker with a sampling rate of 1000Hz and a screen resolution of 1024 × 768 pixels. The distance between the subject and the screen is 61cm. The font is Song typeface 18, and each Chinese character is 25 in size × 25 pixels, with a viewing angle of approximately 0.92°. The dataset contains a total of 16 CSV format files, with files named after STROKE and LENGTH corresponding to Experiment 1 and Experiment 2, respectively. The table includes PP (subject), phase (learning stage), sentence_number_1 (total number of sentences), exposure (total number of novel words learned), type (novel word type), SP (Skipping probability), FFD (First fixation duration), GD (Gaze duration), RIC (regressions-in probability), TFC (Total fixation counts), TFD (Total fixation duration), ISL (Incoming saccade length) and OSL (Outgoing saccade length). Use R for data processing.
