This study has 95 samples from sugacane soils in Sao Paulo State, Brazil. The DNA was extract with Power Soil Kit. The 16s rRNA gene was amplified with the primers proposed by Sogin et al 2006 (V6 region), using a Ion Torrent Plataform. Bacterial (16S) metagenomic in sugarcane soils

资源简介:
The exploration of the microbiome has been described as one of the pillars for innovative technologies related to animals and plants production and health. Agriculture is a promising area for it as soils harbor a vast diversity of microbes. The better understanding of environmental drivers influencing the structure and functioning of such communities is highly desirable. This work aimed to describe the bacteriomes across a broad spatial scale in a single agriculture plantation, using 10 areas of sugarcane production as a model. The main objectives of this study were to: (1) evaluate the bacterial community (bacteriome) biogeographic distribution in soils using a single cultivated crop (sugarcane) as a model system and (2) robustly enumerate the major drivers of bacteriome structuring in such soils.
