Colchicine is a commonly used drug for the treatment of gout and inflammation, but its nephrotoxicity and underlying mechanisms are not fully understood. This study aims to investigate the relationship between colchicine-induced nephrotoxicity and m6A methylation modifications. Overall design: To investigate whether m6A modification is involved in nephrotoxicity following colchicine treatment, we performed MeRIP-seq and experimental verificationon both colchicine-treated and untreated control cells.
