This dataset is the spatial distribution data of land use types in Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province in 2008. It is vector data with attribute fields including land code, land type and others. The land types are classified into secondary categories as follows: paddy field, dry farmland, closed forest land, shrub land, sparse forest land, other forest land, high-coverage grassland, medium-coverage grassland, low-coverage grassland, rivers and canals, lakes, reservoirs and ponds, permanent glacial snow and ice, tidal flat, river bottom land, urban land, rural residential areas, other construction land, sandy land, Gobi, saline-alkali land, swamp land, bare land, bare rock and gravel land, and others. Among them, cultivated land is classified into paddy fields and dry farmlands on mountains, hills, plains and slopes with a gradient greater than 25 degrees according to landform. The data scale is 1:100,000.
