The Comma.ai Dataset is a video dataset for autonomous driving, containing 7.25 hours of video footage. It includes 10 variable-sized video clips recorded at 20 Hz, with cameras mounted on the windshield of a 2016 Acura ILX. Simultaneously with the video capture, we also recorded various measurements including vehicle speed, acceleration, steering angle, GPS coordinates, and gyroscope angles, which were resampled to a unified 100 Hz time base. The Comma.ai Dataset was released in 2016 by Comma.ai, a U.S.-based company. Please refer to the full list of logs here. All files are stored in HDF5 format and named after their recording timestamps. The camera dataset has a shape of number_frames × 3 × 160 × 320 and is of uint8 data type. One of the HDF5 datasets in each log is named cam1_ptr, which is used to address the alignment problem between camera frames and other measurement data. The required dependencies include Anaconda, tensorflow-0.9, keras-1.0.6, and cv2.
