This metadata entry refers to measurements of aerosols during the DOGEE-SOLAS and SEASAW; high wind, gas and aerosol fluxes in the North East Atlantic Ocean research cruise on RRS Discovery D313 as part of the DOGEE (The UK SOLAS Deep Ocean Gas Exchange Experiment) and SEASAW (Field observations of Sea Spray, Gas Fluxes and Whitecaps) experiments. The cruise began on 7th November 2006 and ended on 6th December 2006 with the spatial coverage of +55N and +57N longitude and +5W and +13W latitude.
The data consists of:
-Aerosol composition from underway air intake on Monkey Island;
-Aerosol spectra (10-300 microns) from bridge deck by Optical Array Probe (OAP);
-Aerosol spectra from 0.5m above sea surface on aerosol buoy by CLASP probe;
-Aerosol spectra from 1m above sea surface on aerosol buoy by CLASP probe; and
-Aerosol spectra from underway air intake on Monkey Island.
