The International Terrorism: Attributes of Terrorist Events (ITERATE) Textual Dataset 1980-2007

The International Terrorism: Attributes of Terrorist Events (ITERATE) provides a wealth of information for those who wish to analyze international terrorism beyond selective or anecdotal references. The project quantifies data on the characteristics of transnational terrorist groups, their activities that carry international impact and the environment in which they operate. The ITERATE dataset is the most comprehensive and frequently-cited publicly-available dataset on transnational terrorism. Using Tree view is strongly reccomended on this dataset This dataset consists of only the textual data from 1980-2007. Textual data is organized monthly in the format ITR[Month][Last two digits of year], files with UPDA instead of ITR are updates brought to that year, and files with A.B.eg. in the name before the year refer to updates in information brought later.
