Pollen and macrofloral samples were analyzed from the Alcove Site (AR-
03-10-01-374). This site was occupied approximately 2000 years ago and is
located along the Rio Chama south of Navajo Peak. Pollen and macrofloral
analyses address the questions of extant vegetation at the time the site was
occupied, as well as questions of subsistence.
