Conservation Genetic Analysis of Endangered Aquatic Insects

The aim of this research is to collect comprehensive genetic data from endangered Japanese aquatic insect species and to develop new genetic markers that are essential for conservation activities. By sequencing and analyzing the DNA of these unique samples, researchers hope to gain a deeper insight into the population structure, genetic diversity and evolutionary history of aquatic insets. The ultimate goal is to protect and preserve this rare and ecologically important species for future generations.
