Inscription House Pueblo, located in Nitsin Canyon, a side canyon of Navajo Canyon, in north- central Arizona, was the site of archaeological salvage and stabilization during the summer of 1977. The project sponsored by the National Park Service and carried out by the University of Colorado was designed to stabilize portions of Inscription House and salvage a trash midden which was being actively eroded by an arroyo. During the process of excavation, pollen samples were taken to provide further data pertaining to the site.
